Born and raised in Valparaiso Chile, Marina Soto was exposed to a style of cooking that allows her to create unique, simple and flavorful dishes.
From early on, Marina knew she enjoy cooking for her family and friends and decided to apply for a job as a Cook at The Waldorf Astoria in Park City. Inspired by the passion and respect for food of the Executive Chef, she decided to make a career change from Human Resources to professional cooking and embraced her new career with the same passion, dedication and drive.
Marina believes that the most flavorful dishes are those made gathered around good company, not in a rush, while telling stories, when the emotions and good energy are part of the ingredients that create the dish.
She credits her passion for cooking and personal development to the Chefs who have welcomed her into their kitchen, and shared their knowledge.
Outside of cooking she enjoys food photography and reading.
Marina currently holds a ServSafe Manager Certification and a Nutrition Coach Certification
